For the “documenta 12”, one of the most important exhibition of contemporary art, drawing attention all over the world, Makom AG colors the documenta-Halle. The own production of a 608 sqm print on mesh material in the color of lilac was fixed on the documenta-Halle with keder rails. But on many other locations in the whole city, e.g. at the trail station Wilhelmshöhe, prints and banners from the production facility of Makom AG are visible. With the beginning of this years´ “documenta 12”, Kassel is in the center of the world. The worth seeing exhibition is a smash hit and will be awarded with a new record attendance. The cooperation between Outform. and Makom Ambient produced a complete package which included design, production, installation and advertising service of prints, design furniture and 3D objects. The new MP3-Player of a Sony Ericsson mobile phone was presented and could be tried out.

This is how the Köln Bonn Airport now presents itself. Everybody landing in Köln Bonn will know it right away because this uniform corporate design will greet the guests and visitors everywhere at the airport. At the aerobridges, on facades, busses and parking lots, the new corporate design is gradually taking its form. Even a Germanwings plane already shines in the Köln Bonn Airport look. The specialists in large format communication were responsible for the 1,800 m² wallscape at the airport multi-story parking lot. The Makom team was in charge of conception, printing and installation of the large format print. The installation succeeded smoothly, and the prints were installed within few hours andon time for the presentation. Due to the given light and wind situation, the banner was printed on PVC mesh.

Johannesburg - Right on Sandton Square, directly in front of the congress center of this year World Summit on Sustainable Development, a special type of eye-catcher was placed: A huge replication of the hemisphere, which ag4 mediatecture company designed and realized for BMW. In order to successfully realize the whole concept, various companies had to be involved. Makom was chosen due to its specialization in the field of digital printing and innovative solutions for textile architecture.
Within a very short period of time, next to the 900sqm printed skin - a cover over the air house - the technical specifications of the actual air house needed to be developed. Makom delivered a mechanism with a new rail support system, with which the skin could be pulled up and down every morning and evening. The projections on the inside were to be seen on the outside during nighttime.

The Théatre National du Luxembourg does not only impress through its stage. Already for a second time, the theatre building proved to be an ideal stage for successful large format production.
